Are Realtors Worth the Money?

I want to answer a question that I do get a lot. The question is, “..are realtors worth the money?”

I want to explain a little bit and then I will conclude with my answer. But before I explain, I want to clarify first, I don't think it's an opinion I think what I’m about to say is a fact!

Having a realtor that represents you as the buyer for a home, a full-time realtor, especially a realtor that is experienced and has helped people buy homes a number of homes over the years, these realtors devote their entire day and night and sometimes sacrifice time away from their families to help people buy a home!

When you have a realtor that is dedicated to doing this day in and day out for years, they learn so much about real estate. They learn what to look for in an inspection. They will have a really good reputation with the listing agent, which could help you get your offer accepted; especially if you're in a multiple offer situation.

Solid realtors will have a good idea of what your closing costs are going to be early on in the process. They will have a great relationship with a local lender nearby who they trust in recommending you to go and talk to.

The list goes on! A good realtor will also help hold other third parties in the process accountable. They will look out for YOU. They will also help you walk through the home in the final inspection before you actually sign the closing documentation.

That's just a brief list of a few reasons why I say realtors are absolutely worth the money; plus the fact that whenever you're buying a home, the majority of the time, the seller pays the realtor commission!

I hope that helps and um if you need a realtor let me know. I know a few thousand of them (nationwide). Sometimes, the fun realtors even give cool swag! Shout out to the Jason Mitchell Group! You guys take care and I wish you the best!
